Dear all,
Please let me know whether we can bring cameras to Hong Kong Coliseum for concert. I remeber seeing some ads in the movie theater that we can't tape at concert. How about cameras? Thank you

That 's ok.I have just bring a camera in a concert.Although the ticket states that no camera can bring ,I still can bring,it will not check

It mainly depends on the production company.

I worked part-time for a Japan record company years ago. One of their artist held their concert in HK Coliseum. If you dare to take out any form of camera or fire a flash, some big tall guys will come to you and ask for your camera. This is a very extreme case in HK.

Nowadays, most production company will have a bag-check before the entrence if photography is not allowed. In this case, the will provide a secure place to store any collected camera where you can get it back after the show.

For most local artist i know, photography is allowed. Though all production says photography and any kind of recording is not allowed, I saw a guy with a 300mm f2.8 not far away from me in Beyond's concert.

I don't take photos when I'm enjoying concert. I believe if security comes to you, just put your camera back inside your bag and they shall give you no extra trouble.
