I have posted the same question in avbuzz. Post here for those who have not been there:
I am using both Olympus C5050 and Nikon SLR F70. Want to buy DSLR for my future trip. Mainly taking scnery photos by the DSLR. I am thinking about the captioned DSLR + lens. Price for E1 kit has droped to around $11000 while D70 body + a better wide zoom or prime lens may be close to that.
Any comment on the picture quality of the two systems?
BTW for typical group photos,, I would use C5050. Mainly want to buy a DSLR to capture those breathtaking and stunning scenery.
