I just bought the IXUS 30, and have never own a digital camera before. just wondering what is the use of AFLock, AE Lock and FE Lock.

AFLock - 焦距鎖, even you release the shutter, then you can take many photo withn the same 焦距值.
AE Lock - 曝光鎖, even you release the shutter, then you can take many photo withn the same 曝光值. (Flash is off)
FE Lock - 閃燈曝光鎖, even you release the shutter, then you can take many photo withn the same 曝光值. (Flash is on)
You have combination,
AFL + AEL
AFL + FEL
These features seems to be professtional, soldem used. But if you know it, it would be very useful and powerful.
e.g. take panorama photos, fixed F and E would give consistent photos.
And if you continuously take photo on an object not easy auto focus or auto exposure.
And if the exposure would be wrong on your focus object.
....... think more, you would learn more.
