Some photography magazines and web sites recommend this lens, saying it's a pretty sharp lens with very good operatability. The MTF chart is impressive. It's a good bargain too (about HKD5500). I'm considering to take pics for indoor stage performance such as music concerts and dancing, and for outdoor portraits. It has an advantage in focal length over Canon 70-200mm f4 L (longer focal length, just equivalent to 70-200mm f2.8 + 1.4x extender). What do you think of this lens?
The other competitors are Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L non-IS and IS, but they are at least 2x more expensive!
