CF is faster than MIRCO DRIVE & more save power than.

Generally speaking, CF has many speed you can choose from e.g. slow(4x)/normal(24x)/high speed(40x)/ultra(60+x) etc whereas MD i/o speed is much the same from brand to brand. CF does not consume much power as it is just memory but MD is a harddisk and it will run all the time and drain your batttery until dried up.

I have beening using SanDisk 1G and Hitachi 1G MD for a while.

SanDish 1G is clearly the winner because
1) It is faster (not sure by how much, but it is faster)
2) It consumes less energy(not sure by how much, but it is way better)
