Very soon, I need my fist time to take photos for my son's "award presentation ceremony" on stage. Can anyone advise:

- what technique should be used? e.g. mode Tv, Av, M?? use flash or use high ISO?
- what are those gears need to be taken (e.g. flash, tele lens, etc)
- what special things should be looked at.

I will be sitting around 30ft away from the stage, and I am thinking to the 1DII, 70-200L2.8IS, 24-70L2.8, 580EX, stofen-bounce.

室內又遠o既﹐iso 400﹐加閃。
機用 m mode﹐係唔手震為前題下盡量多吸現場光。
閃就 ttl ﹐唔好用膠盒仔﹐無用又晒電。

I will use the 70-200IS for shooting. What settings should be set for aperture & shutter in M mode? Should F4 & 1/125 or F5.6 & 1/60 be good enough because of using IS???

先考慮快門。
當你用 1/60﹐睇下現場光可以出到咩光圈。
如果光圈太細﹐咁閃燈輸出會較大﹐好可能回電唔夠快﹐分分鐘影得一下﹐咁就要加大 iso。
實際係咩 setting 要到現場先會知﹐我諗你到時應該會有時間測試。
