17-40L話晒都係CANON L鏡，講真會滿足到自己虛榮心，但係焦距在300D只能去到28mm，!!
12-24個焦距就好啱我，無論digital及film都可以去到超廣角，而且我覺得質素不比17-40L差，又可以用在FILM機上。
想問大家有咩意見??

2枝鏡的用途根本唔同,12-24mm係超廣角,空間透視和變形的控制是比17-40mm難,而17-40mm的視角已經十分好用,當你見過它的表現,就會愛不釋手,我建議你買左皮17-40mm先.再睇下需唔需要更廣角

我都好想買sigma12-24 or takina12-24(for canon)唔知兩支鏡分別買多少?

The critical point is: do you need a very wide view that only Sigma 12-24mm can do? If you seldom take such wide pics, I think it's a waste. Distortion at such wide view is serious, even that Sigma controls distortion well. Serious perspective distortion is still there. The exaggerated sense of perspectives also makes this lens difficult to use sometimes. For such a wide view, you'll have to tolerate with the poor sharpness at corners and peripherals.

If you need the super wide view, only Sigma can do this. If you use a lens for conventional wide angle shots, Canon 17-40mm is probably the best choice. Also, I don't recommend Canon 16-35mm because it's so expensive, and it doesn't beat the 17-40mm.
