I need one of the above lens for urgent use (function), which one u are recommend?

a) Kit Len cheap D and wide D
b) A09 Sharp D and F2.8
c) 17~40 L most expensive but high quality (should be)...

For landscape and I have $$, choose c), No $$ then a) (no way)
For protriat, b), no so expensive and hight quality when f > 3.5...

Is the 17-40L suitable for function (hotel ball room), as all know that 24-70 2.8L is more suitable for function, but it's impossible to pay $10k for playing, so I consider A09.

So 17-40L and A09, which is more suitable for function? (I mean have a better output?)

To minmium the cost, how about 350D Kit Lens? Is it provide fair result?
