Agree! certainly view finder should be used for DSLR.
that's why it called SLR
However, I do believe that using LCD for shooting should be an advance function for DSLR when shooting with different angle. (when your eye cannot view the "view finder")
Theoretically speaking, mirror can be lockup and let image form on CMOS and LCD instead of view finder.
On the other hand, mirror lockup reduce vibration when shooting.
The only disadvantage is consuming more electricity.
Am I right?
I'm fresh with DSLR

不是20D，是20Da才對，這部機是尊給影天文攝影的，同時是出黑白影象，如果平時影要加濾鏡，同時這部機要訂的。

For DSLR, using ALSO the LCD to shoot is an added advantage. Also, the LCD should be flippable.
Consumers should reflect such views to the manufacturer. Why laugh at someone who suggest that?

一兩個月前我見到雜誌介紹有東西可以加在viewfinder上, 她連接一個外置的LCD, 可以將在viewfinder的影像放大至外置的LCD用. 也許這個問題便解決了, 好像要$1XXX, 但現在好像還未返貨!
毫無疑問低角拍攝時用VIEWFINDER係會很不方便, 或什至瞓身都唔掂, 這個問題一早就出現在菲林機時代, 那時較專業的用家, 咪加個直角器來完成任務! 買原廠就很貴, 平的可以買個海鷗直角器, $3XX!
