I'm a new Z750 user and want to share my real experience with you. I will write whenever I have good or bad experience using this camera. Let's start now!

I live in Hong Kong. I've been researching Pentax s5z, Kodak V550, Casio S500 and Z750. I finally decided Z750 because of it's long battery life, 640x480 MPEG4 in AVI format, many movie mode capable to take movie in low light condition, and fast shuttle response. Note that I already have a Nikon D50, so I need a small camera with good video capability (I don't like DV that need conversion) while I can sacrify a bit on photo quality.

Today is 22 Aug 2005. I bought this new Z750 at 8:00pm. I came home at 9:00pm. Took a few photo and movie. For movie, the performance is great shooting my kid at home. At 9:30pm, I found a "dead dot" on the LCD screen. Sorry I did not see that in the shop which was relatively bright. So far, no "lens error" yet. It is made in Japan, with a "red lablel" on the front. s/n: 4012223F.

Well, I'll get an exchange tomorrow. Will let you know what happen next.
