Acer CR-8530 is most likely made from primier of Taiwan, ok quaility lah.

Sorry, not much heard about this DC, but BENQ E420/E520 are also OEM from Primier, the quality of Primier is ok for beginners, they are the biggest oem in TW making consumer DCs for Ricoh, Konica-Minolta, Rollie, Yashica & many others.

If u want better quality, I suggest u buy brand new "old models of 2005/2004" from more famous manufactures such as CANON & SONY, there products are in general more reliable for the same amount of $, don't buy higher resolution as 8M because the noise will be higher on such a small CCD or CMOS.

The common CCD/CMOS (light senser) size of a small size DC is 1/1.8" to 1/2.2", the smaller the CCD/CMOS, the smaller amount the light received. If the higher pixels, e.g. 8M, are packed into a small size CCD, each pixel can pick up smaller amount of light than a 6M CCD of the same size, therefore the camera has to amplify the signal more on a 8M CCD than a 6M CCD, more noise can be observed, this is the situation of Panasonic FZ30 8M got higher noise than FZ20/10

Forget about 4600, the new 7600 in Sin tak (Mongkok) water good only $1500 ah!

Quality OK ah!

but it use AA batteries (NOT lithium) so that flash photography speed a little bit slow.

Continueous flash photography is almost impossible!

Thanks Brother! I will take a look 7600, but I don't have confidence with water goods, because I have very bad experience before. Any other good suggestions? Thanks!
