I'm in the market for a new digital camera. Which of the two would you recommend?

I don’t have the camera in hand. But please take a good look at the spec!!! Judging from the sensor size, LX2 have the same sensor as the LX1. At the same time LX2 only offer ISO 100 (not even ISO 80 like the LX1). Oh not to mention LX2 come with some type of ZOOM lens.

I don’t know, for me a high ISO DC with a Zoom lens VS low ISO DC with fixed 28mm lens. Hmmmmmmmmm, I think I will take the latter one without second thought. But my wife like the D-LUX 2 over the GR, because D-LUX 2 have a zoooom lens, and she finds it very convenience.

You can argue all you want, but the Prime lens have the edge over zoom lens is a well known fact.
