Just bought a G3 last weekend. It's a wonderful camera. However, I found that the motor is pretty noisy. I tried G2 before, but cant remember if it's this noisy. Is it normal for G3? Hopefully, it's normal lar, because what I got is a water arh ~~

Do you mean the "gee gee" sound coming from the lens? If so, it is normal because continuous focusing is the default setting of the camera. The noise would disappear if the AF mode was set to single.

I see... I was worried because I found the noise pretty loud, and I feel better now :)
