I bought V3 for a week. And test it for many many times. I also read many information about V3 provided in this Forum. But I still have a great problem.

Problem:
When using flash lamp to take 人 photo indoor or outdoor in the night, the people is so bright while the background is very dim!

Since I know V3 cannot adjust 光圈, so I can only use the below way:
1. increase the exposure compensation
2. slow down the shutter speed
3. use slow synth flash lamp instead of normal lamp
4. increase the ISO

And I get the below result:
use method 1,2, and 3 will get the image brighter and more nature. But the result image very easy to get blur and not clear due to handshake! Even very little bit handshake will also affect!!!

Metod 4 will greatly lower the image quality!

I really get frustrate since even take photo indoor seems get poor 光暗 result (bright people / dark bacground indoor) ! I have press half way to get focus and also switch off the AI focus. So I really don;t know what to do! Anyone can help me? Or it is the drawback of all DC?

若室內環境夠光 (e.g. 酒樓, 商場...), 唔用焛光燈都可以拍到, 不過部機要拿穩一些, 因為快門可能去到 1/15s

若用焛光燈, 最好距離人1m以上, 咁影出來的人唔會太爆光, 不過不論dc或普通相機, 當用焛燈時都係會人光背景黑; 若v3, 你可以選擇用星星人mode, 佢會用焛光燈補光+1/15以下的慢快門吸收多一些環境光, 咁你張相影出來人和景都會自然一些 (不過要提個人停定1s唔好郁), 另外部相機機揸定唔好郁, 你可以查查教攝影技巧的書, 都會有教用甚麼姿態可以揸機較穩

我自己試過, 影燈飾及夜景, 可以右腳貴/左腳尊的方式, 然後, 左手頂住部v3左手跟頂住左腳膝頭, 然後用星星人mode影, 造成人肉腳架, 可以令快門在1/4s都唔手陣, 你可以試試

唔好用大iso, 我發覺微粒會好粗, iso100夠影夠啦

I used V3 as well. The indoor result is poor..very poor and it is very weak to deal with higher contrast situation. Using tripod to handle a ultra slim DC sounds funny to me. However its video under good lighting is excelent. So that s bascially what I use it for.

Hi! Raymond,

I have watch your photo and find that you have list 光圈 and 快門 rate. How can you know such rate in V3? Since it is auto 光圈, so how can you check? Also how can you know the 快門 speed?

Besides, your 人肉腳架 method is quite interesting! I will try try!

Hi Hi ! Sorry that I am not the V3 user but have some feeling want to express ! I am the F100 user ! If you stay in this web for a long time, you know that I did post a topic before said F100's flash is really weak and it makes the indoor photo seems dark ! But in this topics it seems that V3's flash is too strong but not for a long distance ! So the people near to DC become really bright but the background becomes dark ! My friend's Sony P31 and S45 have the similar situation ! But S45 performs better since the background is more bright ! But both of these two DC have the same problem ! The flash is too strong and makes the people's face looks really white and not natural ! So it seems funny that what kind of flash is suitable ? If flash not enough the whole photo looks dark but if flash too strong the people's face become white ! Seems no solution !
