Case 1 :
I bought 40D by the end of September and together with EF-S 17-55 F2.8 at Wing Shxxg. Just few days, I found dust inside the lens and change the lens at Wing Shxxg. But the salesman seems not willing to change with me and encourage me to keep my lens.

Just few days later (over 10 days when I bought) , I found the replaced lens having error code 01 with 40D. Then I went to CS for repair, waiting and waiting, but still error......

Case 2:
I bought Cxxxx 1.4x converter at MK computer centre. When I came back home and check under strong white light --> some scratch there. Then need to change it at MK

Case 3:
I bought Sigma 50-150 at Tin Chxxx. After one month later, I found the lens inside having scratchs...planning to go there for argument!!!

I am so 黑仔. I spent much time to go and wait.......

Any experience from you when u buy a lens???

I never examine my lenses under strong light, so I am not any 黑仔。

買鏡呢味野.... 噤多人入去鋪頭試... 試完又吾買....

買左一兩日又番去換.... 即係 睇下邊個彩數 好....

如果全新 鏡 個 盒 有個 seal ...未開過既 買左 都吾掂... 噤真係 black.

強烈推薦用電筒仔 check 鏡, 基本上可以慳番晒買鏡錢.

我都買過裹邊有黑點的鏡,後來百老滙的sales好唔好意思,換番給我,其實那支鏡我都用了10日,映出來的相完全冇問題,不過有得換咪換番支冇,不過就算看唔到都冇所謂,沒有問題的.

既然呢個係你check鏡的標準，點解唔買鏡果時用呢個方法係未比錢前check清楚d呢？你煩，sales都煩。

The saleman give me the 1st lens has dust. Then change another one for me. After few days I used the lens, dust is shown up. Then I go to change again but I change the lens with error code with 40D!!! CS then changed a new one for me.

So I ever used three EF-S 17-55 F2.8

Use this lens, especially take care by adding protector and cleaning the dust before you shorten the lens during carrying out the Zoom action.

All consumer lens, after some time of usage, due to change in temperature, will inevitably get dust in, this is natural. All the lens in my workshop get many dust inside, I've find no problem in the photo output.

Believe it or not, even if u buy a new lens without any dust inside, 3 months later it will have a lot of dust if examined by point to a light source & look
