其實 40d or 450d 兩部機嘅級數都唔同
40d 係中階機, 好多野都比較專業
而 450d 就係入門級
真係好睇你有乜需要

450d 除左 lv 新d , 像素多 210萬, 輕(細)d, 同用 sd card 之外
幾乎冇其他野及得上 40d

相信你自己都比較過兩部機, 買邊部最後都係你自己決定

我只係一個新手, 見你舉旗不定先入黎吹兩句
我本人都有考慮過呢兩部機,
結果我決定等 450d (全因我係新手, 唔想浪費部 中階機)

Need speed, iso 3200, 1/8000" and better AF( I feel its AF is the best among all non-1 D series bodies even better than 5D) is 40D

lighter, small and cheaper is 450D.

Of course they are differences in class and features but both can take good pictures.

It all depends on your budget, I have several bodies, 400D, 40D and 5D, for me weight is a very important factor.

I will bring 400D with me when I go out but without knowing any particular thing to shot.

40D is for high speed photos or need a longer focal length eg. to take air plane in the airport. I only bring them out when I know I will take something in particular.

5D good for portrait and landscape photos, same as 40D.

40d is metal body and rapid photo speed faster
but i thing this is not much usefull for a beginner
professtional body is meaning
it have more easy button on the body for faster controll
and a hard body build for shock or breaking protection
also as the photo speed faster

but becasue of the techincal is update
the 450d now have a enuogh photo speed and also many funtional button
like iso seting white balance is at the back on the machine
so no need to set inside the menu
only do not have the metal body



i think 450d is better for you
becasue if you taking a metal body for photo
you will feel very heavy

and also 450d is a very powerfull machine

now i have 40d but after the 450d release
i think i will use 450d more than 40d

not totally depend on the machine

about 70%~or up is depend on the lens

save more money for the crazy of buying lens as well!!

鏡頭比機身對相片的質素影響重要，
如果你係影風景多，
其實都用不著40D的追焦及連拍能力，
不如留Ｄ錢呢買鏡買filter，
400D/450D都係唔錯既選擇，
輕便，機動性高。

Long time no see ! You are good at taking cat shots !

Both cats are good, but I like the first one just because of the post of the cat, the second one seems a bit distorted.

By the way, I brought both 18-55IS and 55-250IS, too, very good lenses at their price level.

the one of 400d cat is only a old model kid lens no is mode

i also have the is mode kid lens too
very usefull for 6:00pm to 8:00pm night shoot at iso1600

also the 18~55is quanlity is better than the 17~85is
but only come without usm

upper one 40d picture better becasue the lens are hkd9xxx.00

the lower one 400d lens are only second hand at hkd350.00:>

from hanny's cat photos, the kit lens is really not bad. the new kit lens of 450D is even better.
