I have D300 , 17-55mm 2.8G, 50mm 1.8 , 18-200mm sigma , D50, 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 kit lens. 80-200mm 2.8D , 5 lens in total.

17-55mm 2.8G, i want to sell it , because is too heavy, and no VR , should i do it ???

and i have 80-200mm 2.8D ....,i want to sell it , no VR ... and too heavy again ...

want to sell 18-200 sigma also .

And i plan to buy 70-300 4.5-5.6 , as it have VR, and smaller, lighter. or 18-200mm, 1 lens for all use! or 24-70 2.8 ( $14000 , too much $$)

or sell all my nikon , Canon 5D or 40D, 24-105mm and 70-200 L IS 4L ( have IS, and very light)

I think u better use DC, such as coolpix P80.

You should spend more than 500 hr for each lens before u really understand its characteristics. Please bare in mind that hi tech equipment doesn't means u can take good photo. When I buy my Nikon 80-200mm f2.8, the result photo is even worse than my simple DC until I finally catch its characteristics, including the advantage of its very heavy weight (1.3kg).
