NOTICE OF COLLECTION OF CAMERAS


NOTICE is hereby given that KONICA MINOLTA PHOTO IMAGING (HK) LIMITED ("Konica Minolta") has decided for commercial reasons to close its business operation in Hong Kong on 31 March 2006, including, inter alia, the provision of repair and maintenance services for a variety of cameras under the brand names of "Konica Minolta", "Konica" and "Minolta". As at the date hereof, Konica Minolta has in its showroom in Quarry Bay a large number of cameras left uncollected by customers after the provision of repair and maintenance services thereto by Konica Minolta. Despite the long lapse of time (some of which even for years) due for collection of the cameras as indicated on the receipt for repair, some customers have not yet collected their cameras.

TAKE NOTICE that in view of Konica Minolta's imminent cessation of its business, those customers who took their cameras to us for repair on or before 30 September 2005 (by reference to the date shown on the receipt for repair) and who have not yet collected their cameras should come and collect their cameras at Konica Minolta Camera Service Centre located at Shop D, G/F, Eastern Centre, 1065 King's Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong on or before 15 March 2006, failing which Konica Minolta will dispose of those uncollected cameras in such manner as Konica Minolta thinks appropriate pursuant to the terms and conditions printed on the back of the receipt for repair issued to the customers, and in which case Konica Minolta shall not be liable to the customers whatsoever.

For those customers who took their cameras to us for repair on or after 1 October 2005 (by reference to the date shown on the receipt for repair), please also take notice that Konica Minolta will, upon completion of the repair work, call them immediately to collect the cameras. If customers do not receive any call from Konica Minolta on or before 20 March 2006 for collection of the repaired cameras, they should contact Konica Minolta Camera Service Centre (enquiry telephone number: 2565-2192) to follow up the matter. If customers do not collect their repaired cameras on or before 30 March 2006, they are required to contact Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Ltd. ("Sony"), whose address is at Room 202-3, No. 1 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon (enquiry telephone no.: 2790-8023; Opening Hours: Monday-Friday (9:00-18:00), closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) during the period from 3 April 2006 to 30 June 2006 for collection of their cameras by reference to the receipt for repair. Sony will dispose of those cameras left uncollected after the stated period in accordance with the terms and conditions printed on the back of the receipt for repair.

Konica Minolta and Sony shall make their best endeavor to ensure that all storage, transmission and/or usage of personal data as regards those customers shall be done in accordance with the obligations and requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Cap. 486 of the Laws of the Hong Kong SAR.
