it's easy to understand! f3 isn't classic enough! at the same time it isn't advance enough!! if people really wanna by a film camera for pleasure today. they would rather go for a f5/f6 or a f2/fm2/fm3a!
but to be fair, f3 is indeed a very good and reliable film camera!

F3 body is professional, but not user friendly.
lower shutter speed, & ass..is hard to find.

It was the top of the line in the 80s! I've got a f3 and a f3p and they were bought brand new in the mid 80s! Workhorse cameras at work and had never failed me in assignment.
It isn't an AF camera. There are only "M" and "A" mode on it and that's exactly why i said "not advance enough"! The relatively slow maximum flash sync speed is the weakest part! But it was built like a tank and all shutter speed is extremely accurate! That's why many professionals still used it all through the 90s even after the f4 was launched!
