that really depends on what sort of images your looking for...

for general, if you want to get 'everything in' (that seems to be the general perception of how to shot landcapes...) you might want to consider some ultrawide ones.

I suggest the tokina 12-24mm f4, I think that fits your bill quite readily, 平, 靚,正.

there are 2 new ulrawide to come out before the end of the year:
tokina 12-24mm f4 with internal motor (should perform as the old one)
tamron 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 (should be better than its existing 11-18mm, I'm guessing)

The Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 is so far the widest of all on DX (till the new tamron comes out really) if you dun mind Sigma.

if you can push the budget, the nikon 12-24mm f4 and
the tokina 11-16mm f2.8 are the ones to get. (personally I prefer the tokina 11-16mm f2.8 over the nikon)
