I sold my 18-35 after I got the 20mm. I was quite dissatisfied with the distortion 18mm gave me.

24.4 真係最無敵，靚到我無聲出，不過成16k....

其次就14-24，之後16-35，不過呢兩枝都.....麻麻，唔值咁貴

AugustineVC兄, 你FF機, 用上ISO800 / 1600 都該問題不大, 加上WIDE ANGLE, 手震機會應該好少. 所以冇VR亦不是大問題.

唔知係咪 photoshop 普及，好多新的超wide 鏡都唔預加 filter
變polar 藍天就話得，但 polar 防反光係 photoshop 改不了的

佢嘅最前端鏡片弧度極大，會凸晒出來，點加filter呀？除非要整到極大支兼極大口徑啦！

希望光學科技不斷進步，將來新的超廣角鏡及魚眼鏡可加filter就更好了！

其實樓主所列出的鏡頭基本上不能直接比較，12mm效果與16mm效果是完全不同，根本上是不能取代。

當然，16mm的那兩支鏡也有她的特點和優點，但效果是全不相同。選擇那一支是純粹個人的喜好和對效果的要求。

其實超廣角鏡及魚眼鏡一向都唔可以在前面加filter，這是因為光學設計問題。

佢嘅最前端鏡片弧度極大，會凸晒出來，點加filter呀？除非要整到極大支兼極大口徑啦！

希望光學科技不斷進步，將來新的超廣角鏡及魚眼鏡可加filter就更好了！

Thanks for all of your advice. I would like to ask whether the aperture does matter much in wide angle lens??

As in terms of the widest angle, S12-24 is the only choice. Yet a lot of reports suggesting that sharpness is it's short-coming is it's sharpness. I am not suggesting that sharpness is merely caused by aperture, but I really wonder whether aperture affect sharpness and the lens performance in different situations, such as indoor. Once again, thanks in advance.
