I do not consider Ixus 55, because though a new model with 2.5" LCD, it's resolution does not increase and remains the same as Ixus 50. It is also 1mm thicker than Ixus 50. Other features are the same.

I am choosing between Ixus 50 and Fx9. Fx9 is larger and thicker than Ixus 50. Ixus 50 has Digi II processor and is some $500 cheaper than Fx9. Comparing display, Fx9 is better. It is hard to make a decision.

如果講相質 Panasonic 會偏黃d, 但鏡頭質量好
Canon 相角邊會有明顯色散, 但用腳架影夜景靚

各有千秋, 你會否用腳架?
個人認為同級機 Panasonic 實用性高少少

Yes, 5百萬像 is good enough. But LCD resolution of fx8 is too low. See link.
