Canon EF 50 F1.4 USM is that ok ma ??use in 20D??

EF50/1.8 II is great for the price. Please note that it's plastic and the autofocus motor is noisy and a bit slow.

Buy the 50/1.8 first to see if you like it.

If you don't, sell it and get the 50/1.4.

You don't lose much then.
