Im using the 70-300 and i regret so much. i should of got the 100-400 or the 70-200 f/4.

for 70-300
70mm wide open is very sharp, but when it gets to 300mm, the quality falls off. and that is very disapointing.

i was thinking should i replace my 70 300 to 70-200 f/4. since 70-200 is "L". Glass should be much better than the 70-300.
disadvantage of the 70-200 is lack of IS, when you are using on a crop body, is eqv. 320mm therefore you would need a higher shutter speed to avoid blurry image.

but in the end still the 70-200 is better
