各位師兄, 前輩, 我打算為我的Canon 購買以下鏡頭, 但因預算不足, 但又想擁有同樣功能, 唔知大家可否推薦介紹有無其他合適副廠鏡亦有同一 function. 價錢大約多少?

The above two lenses are the top-series of canon lenses, therefore they are called 'L' lenses. Therefore you can hardly find lenses of other brand to compare with. The optical quality is high in this 'L' series.
However if you want to get lenses of similar focus ranges, there are a lot of choices. Their performances are also good.
e.g. Tamron A16 (17-50mm), a well-known lens with good reputation
a new Tamron lens, 70-200mm F2.8 and equipped with macro function
Sigma also provides 70-200mm F2.8 lens.

I know that it's so difficult to compare with other brands lens. i just want to know any lens of other brands have the similar function. Since my budget is very tight. However, i always hear that Canon's lens is better on focus which is my preference to use in athletics.

Final, my camera is Canon 40D.

40D is good enough to get fast and clear focus. Continuous shooting mode is helpful in shooting sports events. For lenses, larger aperture and IS will allow you to shoot with ease. I used 70-200mm 4L for shooting sports event, and I also tried using extender 1.4X. The result sounds good.
For a budget buyer, I think you can try a tele lens with as large as possible aperture. If not afford IS, may use a tripod to compensate. One more thing, 40D is quite good at controlling noises up to ISO 800. That means, you can use higher ISO and as large aperture as possible, so you can use faster shutter to freeze motions.
I will use my 小小白 to shoot volleyball competition this Sunday. Hope you will a lens to suit your needs!

有師兄講Tamron 70-200mm F2.8
又可以Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 但係喱兩枝野都好似成4千幾...
如果都差唔多5K 入枝小小白好過(哥仔...紅圈白鏡...型D)

想多問幾句, 有 IS (防震) 既鏡係咪對新手好有幫助?

A16 有無防塵 及 防震? 大約幾錢? 邊度買低?

小小白 (紅圈白鏡) 好有型我都知, 但係光圈細 又無IS 會唔會對影室內及夜境不足夠 (我都知現時無錢就唔好大想頭, 但小白 F/2.8 IS USM 係我終極目標).
請再指導. 多謝!!!

一枝到位 當然最好係小白is啦...不過最少要13xxx......
小小白需然得f4光圈...室內有d難度...但係5200有得玩.....
如果帶小小白出街影白光...一定夠用 , 再講..canon最勁可能係遠攝鏡

a16冇防震 有入塵機會...成成行貨幫2800有找...仲要5年保養....邊到搵

Yeah, I also have a16+小小白IS, and 100mm macro. I target to get one wide lens and one portrait lens.
Anyway, IS can be helpful, but it is much more expensive, around $3000 more, and heavier!
Therefore 小小白non-IS maybe a good choice for you.
It's true that dust will get into A16, but it also happens for 小小白(though not so serious). Dust is not problem, as in most cases, it will not affect the photo quality. Even it does, you can simply fix the problem by using photo editing software like Canon bundled software.

Fix your budget and the best that you can afford. Once you get it, you will treasure it! Enjoy taking photographs!
