but in HK cost HKD $6990

Brain, USD615 is the street price and you shouldn't compare it with the official Sony HK price (which is at $6990).

USD799 is the official price which translates into $6230, while HK's official price is $6990, however, Hong Kong has no sales tax and so the price is accpetable.
Also, I don't think you (and most readers here) will buy DC at official prices, right? :)
