本人打算用$7000-8000買New DC,唔知 Minolta Dimage A1 定 Nikon Coolpix 5700 好D, 5700 就有 8x optical ,4x digital Zoom,而 A1 就有 7x optical and 2x digital Zoom.但短片方面,5700 好似得60 sec ,but A1 有15 mins.
兩部機都差唔多,邊部好D,請各位高人指教

Personally, I will choose Minolta A1 for the following reasons:

1/
The zoom range for A1 is 28mm to 200mm (in term of 35mm format)
whilst Nikon 5700 is 35mm to 280mm (in term of 35mm format0, and personally I prefer more wide angle than tele.

2/
A1 has a new anti-shake system, this mean I can use slower shutter speed by hand held.

3/
mechanical link zoom ring, that means I can zoom the picture view exactly I want and fastly.

4/
Faster Auto Focusing speed

5/
Support 2 G plus microdrive or CF



However, if you like the following features, go for Nikon 5700

1/
Better macro ability,

2/
A choice of using either 4:3 or 3:2 aspect ration photo size instead of 4:3only

3/
Smaller in size and ligher in weight

A1 有冇對焦輔助燈?

The A1 is the next generation digicam.

And in my view, the 5700 is a good machine but with many useful features intentionally stripped away for marketing purpose so it doesn't compete with Canon's own DSLR line. So you will have to live with the 5700's many happicaps built in.

My personal view: even a 7i or 7Hi beats the 5700, let alone the A1. Then again, as I take more landscape shots, the 28mm wide angle means a hell lot more than the longer reach of the 5700.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Of course buy A 1, Nikon DC camera is not good at checking the white balance, always "reddish", especially around 5 pm to 6 pm; or with red or pink background.

It can only take quality photos in broad day-light. In addition, slow focus.

No need to bother at all, go for A1, good lens-range; faster focus speed, and very important, anti-shaking system.

i vote for A1 as well, for the 28mm wide angle coverage, anti-shake and much better , faster AF. (i know because i use CP5000 and my brother use dimage 7, AF for D7 is so much better)

你一定要買A1呀!如果你買5700就會後悔,因我的朋友用緊這部機,先講支鏡,wide得35mm,如果加鏡要仠多元,跟住講對焦,真係慢工出细貨,我想人地影2張佢可以影完第一張的,再講加外閃,佢嗰支頂級外閃加了之後用唔到TTL,真激氣!重有唔講啦,唔係比NIKON迷鬧死呀,請各大NIKON迷原諒,謝謝!
