yes my no-brand CF card also have this kind of problem and its not recoverable.

but its after 1 year's use in my Coolpix 5000.

since then i am more careful on CF card, i won't pull it out often and handle with extreme care.

and i use product with brand now, which i hope the failure rate will be lower.

i am using 30x transcend 512M now.
