what sort of filter should I get, if I want to protect my lens on my 300d? any recommdition would be great, thanks!

I put three different brand of UV filters for my lens. They all work fine with my lens and 300D. I guss brand is not really a big deal.

Kenko for 18mm-55mm
Hoya for 50mm F1.8II
Sun Pak for 75mm-300mm Tamron
