I am using the hotpixel test software to test my new camera and have found some 'hot pixels', at different areas of the CCD(strange), at different times (I tried 2s, 4s,8s, 15s and 30s). I wonder if they are 'real' hot pixels. If they are, I will have to return for a exchange. I set up the 'threshold for hot pixels at 40' most of the time.
Can any brothers help here?

that's what it supposes to be, slow shutter always comes with hotpixels!!

platz my friend, it is normal to have hot pixels when you use slow shutter. I have similar software myself, look at the instruction and it asked you to test it with fast shutter time. 2s and up is just too much.

Thank you brothers! I think that I should not have worried this too much. I rarely use anything over 2s anyway.
I have also found that there are some cases of out-focus on my 350D, which looks good on the view finder, not just on the long lens like 70-200 f4L, it happens even on the 50mm f1.8 when I try to do some close focus shots!!! May be I should consider taking it to the Canon CS for tuning as well.... :-(
