if I can spare＄2000 to buy one more len
can some big brothers give me some suggestion?

I want to buy a 18-70mm (D70s kit len) is it a good choice?
or Sigma 70-300mm APO macro F4.0-5.6?
or Nikon AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6G?

Please give me some sugestion.

My package will be
(1) D50 kit set (AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm ED f /3.5-5.6G)
(2) Additional Lens (Sigma APO 70-300 DG Marco)

I will use it for take photo during concert and 夜景 mainly.

yup is hong good in Monkok DC Fever
but if u get the kit set from there is $5750 wor (512mb + bag)
so i would rather prefer to buy the body only, can get a better quality len(18-70mm)
The sigma APO 70-300 DG Marco is under my concideration aswell.

I know u have post in other web saying that u are choosing between S9500 and D50, right?

I was using S9500 before, but after 1 month , i have sold it lu, cos i found that the focus is too slow and the pic would not be as sharp as D50, so buy D50 la.

At first, I am considering to buy S9500 becuase the price is lower and buy DSLR until the price drop and haver certain skill in photographing.

However, I found that the DSLR is not too expensive, just 1500 - 2000 higher than S9500. Besides, the quality of photos is better than S9500.

S9500 = 4980
D50 kit set + Sigma APO 70-300 DG Marco = below 7,000
OM E-500 kit set = 6700
