as i know, 55-200 is made in china.

Actually, where it is made. I think 'Hong' good should be made in China and 'water' good should be made in Japan. Is it right?

Hi,

I have one for myself. It is a good value lens for limited budget.
Small, light, good image quality, good boken, and exceptional sharp not much worse than my LB3. I owned both and love to take that out coz. it is
really light in both size and weight. One things should be care. U needed to stop 1 down for black corner. All the range is sharp even at 200mm. Image quality is far away better than the 70-300 len. Good match with D50 kits.

One more thing to be reminded.
Dont expect it is AF-s, It is just little slow but still
better tha 70-300.

I've just seen the photo. It seems ok. Anyway, this len is made in China, but I really have seen the photo from other websit and the len is marked "Made in Japan."

But what is the meaning of 'U needed to stop 1 down for black corner',

I am considering to buy this len 55-200mm next week. Anyother lens are better than this Nikkor 55-200mm under this budget.

How much will the 2nd hand good.
