if you are not shooting birds, etc. just bought 17-55mm is fine. It is a good len. However, I would prefer to buy 18-200mm one for all len for general purpose.

17-55 F2.8 is good choice.

I also have a sigma 24-70 F2.8; but after a few years (expecially after a few wedding / dinner shooting), i found that i need a 17-55 F2.8 for the DSLR.... 28mm is not wide enough for DSLR (1.5x) in indoor shooting;

If you use film, 28-70 F2.8 is a good choice.

I also have a 50mm 1.4D; but you would love to use 50mm separately...

the blur effects are different to that of 2.8G. I love to use at F2.2-2.5 with some flash... It actually depends the distance of background and focal length when choosing the F number.... you can try try the output.

17-55, no doubt, if you don't care its price.

1 st choice is 70-200 2.8 VR, this lens you can not find substitute.

Nikon 17-55 is goods, but Tarmon F2.8 17-50 (I do not have) is also good but cheap.

其實我都有支sigma 個range 一樣的鏡
不過我諗影出黎都係唔夠原廠好
