1) 我想問 what is Dynamic Range ? This is one of the advantage for S5 Pro.

2) After compare with Nikon D200 and S5Pro, D200 is better than S5Pro.
(post in Vol.708 , 電腦廣場) . Is it right?

3) My gear is D70 now, what to buy D200 or S5Pro. How can I choose?

S5 pro too expensive, not much improve from S3pro...

1)是指到寬容度,能否在光位及暗位地方呈現細節.這是富士S5PRO的強項.

2)我都有看今期PCM,我認為該測試未屬準確,而日本CAPA雜誌二月刊中伊達淳一比較D200和S5PRO的結果,認為S5PRO除描寫力外(應該等於解像力),雜訊控制,白平衡,色彩和D-RANGE都比D200優勝.

3)如沒有AI鏡,可考慮D80,因為NOISE控制比D200好,功能質素不差太遠...

S5 is famous for it's Supper CCD, certainly it is better than D200's CCD.
Others functions are more or less the same. IOf course, if you can affort the price, S5 is better !

As testing result, D200 CCD is better ,

I support D200, or D80.

S5 pro is 4K expensive than D200, but it is still controversy whether it is better than D200, As I read PCM test and other comparisons at internet and don't see the difference is so obvious. Just for PQ, S5 pro performs better at high light tolerant but sharpness is worse than D200. At noise control both D200 and S5pro is worse than D80. unless you like Fuji color mode and JPG, otherwise buy D200 or D80 and invest more $ at lens can have better PQ

i think S5 pro only the face color and dynamic range are a bit better, all other are weaker then D200.

If spend $15K, I would choose Canon 5D for $3K more and enjoy FF.

D200 is good price now and no new model in 2 yrs at least.

This depend on what you need.

Need upgrade spec -> D80

Need upgrade spec and body build -> D200 / D2Xs

Need upgrade PQ -> lens.

Per the guessing of people this year may announce successor of D2 FF grade body, but not likely will have D200s.
