The photographer lives in Iceland.
He said the photo was :
" Taken during a storm close to my home in Hafnarfjörður "

In his album there are many stunning coastline photos similar to this one.

In DCfever the member did not post any of these stunning photos in the past after he registered in DCfever.

Therefore there is a reasonable doubt that the member of DCfever steals photo from the Iceland photographer.

For your information, I've asked the author if they are the same person by posting a comment under his photo. However, within a very brief period, my comment was deleted and i was rejected to make any further comment.

This guy does look suspicious for the following reasons,

1. His photos are taken with a wide range of DSLRs (Canon 30D, Nikon D70, Fuji S2Pro, Sony Cybershot...etc.)

2. Some of his photos do not have full EXIF data.

3. Some of his photos have EXIFs indicating camera model different from the one filled in by himself. (e.g. http://www.dcfever.com/photosharing/viewphoto.php?photoID=358200)

I think some or majority of his photos are his original work, but some others are taken from other photographer without acknowledgement. But by uploading the pic for others to vote, one would expect the pic to be his original work, unless he specifically states otherwise.
