小弟剛買了40D+Sigma17-70好開心光線足時成像很好,不過入黑要sharp d就有點困雖.小弟可能色慾太多所以有點兒手震... canon 18-55 is 是否很好? 不過好貴....sigma 18-200 OS 是否真的很差? 各師兄比點意見please.....

17-55 IS is excellent, you can go to '400D discussion' and go back about few pages I have posted one or two example.

However, if you have 17-70 the range will be overlapped, you may sell the 17-70 when you buy 17-55 IS. For the price I agree it is expensive but now is only around $6700, when newly issued is around $9000.

No ideas for 18-200 OS but I think Tamron 18-250 is better as most of those testing site reported. For a zoom with this kind of range don't expect too much, just give you convience during travel may not be image quality.

Agreed 17-55 F2.8 IS is excellent.

If you want one lens around the world, Tamron 18-250 is a good choice

To supplement, I also buy a Sigma 50-150 F2.8 to cover 80-240 (1.6x factor) . It is also a good lens, for your info.
