It is the only prosumer DC with SLR viewfinder. Real SLR feeling. Cheaper than DSLR (D100,D60,D1ds) but more expensive than prosumer DC. One n\bad thing about this camera is the CF writing time. Too slow.. Even slower than prosumer DC. Writing time for 5 mega pix jpeg is about 10 sec..... Buffer only fills up to 4 frames. Meaning if you use continueous mode to 4 frames you have to wait for more than 40 sec for next shot and you cannot do anything while waiting... If you do not mind the slw writing times than this is a great camera body with true SLR feel camera.
