When I am in manual mod, after I press the shuffter half way, sometime I get red leetters on the top left had corner eg +2, or +1 1/3.
could anyone tell me what they mean? thanks!!!

those numbers indicate how much you're away from proper exposure (judged by the camera). "+" means based on your current aperture and shutter settings, the photo will be over-exposed, while "-" means it'll be under-exposed. if the number is red, that means you're way over or way under! ^_^
