小弟只是新仔一名乜都唔識，但在此網的作品發表區上看到，FZ1 的相好靚，仲靚過C-750好多(如覺得C-750D相太少，可看C-740)。可能有人會話呢兩部機的規格唔同好難比較，但我覺得買部相機返來都係影相，比較D相靚唔靚先係最緊要。係咪C-750、C-740太新，D人技巧未熟所以D相冇咁靚呢？睇完D相你又會買邊部呢？有冇高手POST一些用C-750影的靚相來睇呀？

FZ1 is really a top performer in its class. my guess is because of the renowned leica lens. what a shame is its rather insufficient rez. for decent sized print and occasionally crop (as my skill is not good, so from time to time, i will have to rotate and crop the pictures).

I have FZ1 and would say the FZ1 image quality is quite good.
I've just gone thru some c-750 pic and found the quality is good too.

If the C-750 pic is blurred probably due to camera shake in long zoom. In this case the FZ1 image stabilizer can really help.

When you want to crop (remove part of the distracting part of the photo) C-750 is far superior due to its 4mp comparing FZ1 2mp.

In my humble opinion as the FZ1 indicates FZ1 is Fun Zoom Ichiban.

Dominic,

I was deciding between C740 and FZ1 two months ago (C750 was more expensive an not available then). C740 has more pixel more manual control; and FZ1 has IS and better lens range (both wider and longer at both ends).

In the end, your pictures convinced me that (1) FZ1 makes good clean images (2) you have good imaging eyes. Yes, FZ1 stands for Fun Zoom One in my book.

IMHO it's Dominic's skill that makes FZ1 works fine. One with good skill never depends on IS. I don't mean that C750 or C740 is better than FZ1 or vice versa, but skill always comes first. I've seen people like Junko Theresa Mikuriya using Holga (some people says it's a plastic toy) and made a lot of amazing photos which are shot for advertisements.
