2 Canon S50
3 Canon Ixus 400

Want to buy my first DC within 2 weeks, my budget is around $3000-4000. Thanks!

From the listed items, I would go for S50. I want to buy my first DC too. I heard that there is a new model S55 coming soon. I will wait for it and see if any improvments from S50.

I have not known the details of S55 but I heard it from a sales only. The price of S50 is HK$3,980 or HK$3,960 at the moment.

If you want to buy the first DC, choose S50.
Because IXUS 400 is a full auto camera.
I bought it last week for my 2nd DC.
