Hmm... maybe it's a stupid question, but when I'm bouncing the light, I only use the bounce card to fill in some light direct to the subject. In which the build in card is already bigger than what I need most of the times, why would you need bigger one?

a bigger bounce card always give a softer image shadow than a smaller bounce card (such as those build in) especially for close object.

Of course, if u are a newspaper or magazine photographer, u don't need bounce card, u just need a direct fired flash to get a sharp image.

Maybe it's just me then... I guess I don't want too much frontal fill so the build in card is already the perfect size for me :P Maybe I'm yet to run into situation of needing bigger one as well :P
