Good and ....much much better than I thought.
I use 7D with it and I find the P.Q is definately better than SSW F4. Not sure about SW 2.8 as I have not used it before. Can't make any comment.
The only one thing is speed. If you are using it for sports or fast moving objects......forget it.....you need USM or buy Sigma instead...
Overall I give 8.5/10......to me speed is not my main concern....
