Dear C-Hing,

I bought D700 today but have headache in choosing lens.

It seems that there is not much choices. For me Nikon 24-70 2.8 is over the budget. Is there any other choices?

The sales persuade me to buy Sigma 24-70mm 2.8. I heard that the colour of Sigma Lens isn't good. Did any C-Hing use it before? Any comment on the lens?

You can look for the used AiAF lenses such as AFD 28-70 f/3.5-5.6. This cheap zoom is very solid built, very very good PQ , no AFS problem and it is MIJ. This is my travel lens if I don't want to bring my N2470.
