On a sunny day, direct sunlight on the face....

D90 + 35mm 1.8

A - mode

exposure -1

matrix metering

Auto shutter went to 1/4000, Auto ISO picked 200, Auto WB.

From F/1.8 to F/4

Result: over exposure on the face!!! What went wrong? Use center weight metering? use exp -2? lower ISO??

Please help.

if F4 still go with 1/4000s shutter, try low the ISO see work or not.
if still over, try use CPL or ND filter.
