oh, very very important to my photo life, so that I can use Nikon AF 80-200 f/2.8 on my D40. I can reuse many old lens such as F 50mm f/1.4, F 35mm f/2 and F 105mm f/2.5.

Besides, I can also make use of F 105mm f/2.5 become a macro lens.

The key important things include
1. Focus a very tiny object that AF can't focus on
2. Reuse those old lens in new DLSR
3. Focus the object that u want to focus which AF easy get wrong.
4. Focus the Sun, Moon and Star
5. Focus the shadow, crystal, glass
6. Focus those AF not able to focus, even you have 100 focus point.

you just change the focusing screen only, no other electronic component need to change. My D40 has replace the origin focusing screen with split screen focusing screen. Now, I can bring both AIS F 50mm f/1.4 and AIS 17-35mm f/2.8 in my bag.
