Not recommended to buy substitute battery. I had a bad experience of buying a substitute battery for my Canon G-5 (Brand name: Fujipower) . It worked well at first (more than 400 photos for each charge). But after I charged it for 6-8 times, its power reduced substantially (less than 100 photos). There is no such problem for my original Canon battery even though I had already charged it for more than 20 times!
It is therefore worthwhile to spend more to buy the original rather than spend less to buy the substitute. If you do buy the substitute, you may be needed to spend much more eventually like me!
