What is the most common and effective way of avoid losting the cap? I know I can always put it into my pocket but it's not that handy.

Also should one buy a filter just for the protection of the front of the lens?

鏡頭蓋一般唔會太貴；一百幾十左右、徐非好特別size或者係Leica, Hasselblad果D。在任何相机店都應該有得賣、如果找不到或太貴、可以去尖沙咀香檳商場睇睇、那裡有些土炮鏡頭蓋。

If your lens can fit a filter buy one, as for lens cap there is some lens cap string you can stick to your lenscap and tie to the camera strap (like telephone strap).
