I have EFS 17-55 f/2.8 + EF 70-200 L IS f/4. These 2 lens are great and good enough for most of the time.

Hello Jim 69! Are you using 30D ?? Actually, I also have the lens you mentioned. I think that both lens are sharp, better MTF rating and wide coverage (in terms of range) as compared to 17-40L and 24 -105 L IS which I owned in the past. Do you agree?
