Firstly, thanks to all brothers.

I have a question. Now I have Canon EOS33 and EF 28-105 USM.
And I want to take a Marco photo of a diamond ring for business
purpose. So, how I can take a good photo for that by an economy
way and which kind of lens (such as close up lens) and equipments
(such as light placement) I should use. This photo is used for poster use, the size of poster is around 18 inches X 24 inches.

Please help me to solve this problem as I don't know how to do that.

Jewellery is one of the HARDEST thing to photograph. You will need very careful lighting and exposure in order to avoid the highly reflective surface, but yet you need to bring out its 'transparency'.

Depending on the shot, you may need a Macro lens or some sort of extension tube. and you will need a well equipped lighting setup.

Many professionals use sepcialized lighting tools, such as http://www.clouddome.com/ to control the flare.

Good luck, it's NOT easy, especially with film since you do not get instant feedback of the lighting result.

you can use your DC to do test shots for the exposure.

since your subject is static one. you may like to use DC to take a couple of shots and stitch them together so as to make it high resolution enough for our blowup size.
