Another thread leading another argument. All the DC have their own pro & con. And all individual potential user has his / her own reason back them up to buy the one fit most.

My choice: the A-1,
Reason:
1) as pk0556pp said: coolpix5400 not in the same class!
2) the F828 is too heavy and bulky for me.
3) the anti-shake system in the A1.
4) Little difference in the photo between 500 and 600 meag pixels .
5) the B shutter in the A1. (shutter speed for A1 has a wider range than the S7000)
6) I love Minolta !!!
